What began with a simple idea—to create handbags that combine beautiful design, everyday practicality and thoughtful personalisation—has grown into a trusted British handbag brand.
Since launching, we've proudly fulfilled over 120,000 orders, generated more than £8.4 million in sales, and become part of thousands of women's everyday lives.
Every collection is designed in Britain and developed alongside our long-standing manufacturing partners in Guangzhou, China, before being hand-finished and personalised in London by our female-led team.
For us, great handbags are never just about how they look. They should feel effortless to carry, beautifully made, and become the bag you instinctively reach for every morning.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
I founded JLR London with one simple ambition: to create handbags that women genuinely love to carry I wanted to design bags that looked timeless rather than trend-led, felt practical enough for everyday life and were beautifully made without compromising on quality.
What started as a small independent business has grown far beyond anything I imagined. Over the last six years we've had the privilege of sending more than 120,000 handbags to customers across the UK and beyond, and every single order still means just as much today as it did when we packed our very first one.
Like every independent business, our journey hasn't always been straightforward.
As fashions changed and our customers' needs evolved, so did we. Every collection has been shaped by customer feedback, refined through countless rounds of sampling and developed with one goal in mind: creating handbags that women continue reaching for long after the latest trends have passed.
Today, JLR London remains proudly independent, and I'm incredibly grateful to every customer who has been part of our journey.

Our first personalised handbag collections launch, and women across the UK begin discovering the brand.
2021
Our community continues to grow as thousands of customers choose JLR London for work, weekends, travel and everyday life.
2022
Annual sales exceed £2 million, marking a major milestone as the brand continues to grow.
2023
We introduce premium leather collections, expanding our range while continuing to invest in elevated design, craftsmanship and quality.
2024–2025
Every collection continues to evolve through customer feedback, improved functionality and extensive product development. Every design is refined through multiple rounds of sampling before production begins.
2026 — A NEW CHAPTER
Listening to our customers has always been at the heart of everything we do.
After expanding into premium leather, we recognised that many customers still loved the timeless JLR London designs they had always known, but wanted them reimagined in premium vegan leather at more accessible price points.
Rather than standing still, we listened.
In 2026, we introduced a new chapter for JLR London by bringing our bestselling collections back into premium vegan leather, while continuing to offer responsibly sourced leather across selected styles.
The result is the collection you see today—timeless handbags shaped by six years of customer feedback, product development and continuous refinement.
